In July 2009 Harjinder became the first employee of Bennett’s Legal just weeks after its launch. Harjinder joined as a paralegal and her obvious potential meant she was quickly promoted to become a Trainee Solicitor. Harjinder qualified as a solicitor in January 2012 and now works alongside Paul on Company and Commercial matters.

Since qualification Harjinder has taken the role of Company and Commercial Solicitor advising on the following areas of law:

• Intellectual Property;
• Debt Recovery.

As the first recruit of Bennett’s Legal, Harjinder has enjoyed networking with local businesses since joining the firm.

The nature of her work means she is in regular contact with accountants and tax advisors in relation to client matters.

Harjinder enjoys working through issues that are complex and unique for clients. She works nationally but enjoys meeting with local clients and understanding their legal requests. As a key part of the team Harjinder has developed a good understanding of a number of our regular client’s company structures and enjoys acting for Shareholder’s and Director’s seeking to protect their interests through Agreements and Debentures.

Harjinder is originally from Telford and returned to Shropshire after working for a London based law firm. Harjinder completed her law degree at Nottingham Law School. Harjinder speaks fluent Panjabi, Urdu and Hindi and can advise client’s in these languages if they require.

On a personal note Harjinder enjoys travelling and since joining the firm has travelled to India, the Maldives, Rome and New York. In her spare time she socialises with friends and family.
