Solicitor Advocate (All Proceedings)

Nick is an Associate Solicitor (the term is used to describe more senior solicitors) and is our designated In House Counsel (the role usually occupied by a barrister). Nick is committed to giving clients advocacy services from their law firm as opposed to the traditional option of using a Solicitor and a barrister.

As a specialist advocate Nick reviews all employment and Court litigation matters within the firm and often leads or guides the team in preparing matters. Nick has appeared in Courts and Employment Tribunals throughout England and Wales. Nick enjoys appearing for Solicitors in Shrewsbury at local Courts and Tribunal.

Nick has experience of conducting multi day hearings for clients before Tribunals and Courts.

Shrewsbury Solicitor

In July of 2011 Nick joined the team from a respected local law firm where he had conducted employment and commercial litigation for clients since qualifying as a solicitor. Nick worked with our Managing Director at his previous law firm between 2007 and 2009.

Prior to his legal career Nick was an Officer in the Royal Navy and served both in the UK and internationally. This fresh perspective brings a pragmatic and focused approach to problem solving and a high level of tactical awareness.

Nick was raised in Brighton but moved to Shropshire at the end of his naval career. He has two young sons with his wife who is originally from Shropshire. He is a keen photographer and holds a 2^nd degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.
